The Logic & Theory

TradingView is widely used for charting and testing ideas, while MetaTrader 5 (MT5) is a common platform for running automated trading through Expert Advisors (EAs). Moving a strategy from one platform to the other means rewriting the Pine Script logic in MQL5, the programming language of MT5. Results can differ between the two platforms because of differences in data, spreads, slippage and broker execution, so a strategy that looks good on TradingView should be tested again on MT5 before real money is used.

What do I receive?

The standard delivery is a compiled .ex5 file. If you also need the source code (.mq5), ask before we start so this can be agreed.
